Description
SOB Hill is a well-known challenging off-road route located near Breckenridge, Colorado, serving as a more difficult bypass on the western approach to Georgia Pass. The trail gets its name from a formidable obstacle: a steep, approximately 150-yard climb littered with various-sized rocks and loose dirt, which becomes significantly tougher when wet. After conquering this section, the route continues its ascent along the Continental Divide's west side, eventually reaching the summit of Georgia Pass. From this vantage point, at over 11,600 feet, you're rewarded with expansive views of the South Park Valley, Longs Peak, and the White River National Forest. This trail is part of the trail system in the White River National Forest and is also known by identifiers 258.1 and Trail 10.
